Known Issues
----------------------

There are several problems that we know can occur with this game. If you have a problem,
take a look at this list before you run off and bitch at us:

*Performance is poor even on decent and high-end machines. This is a limitation of the engine. It was
never meant to handle the large number of NPCs used to fill the theater. Lowering the number of NPCs
can help improve performance if it's an issue. We've found numbers between 80-100 work alright on our
midrange hardware.

*occasionally dead npcs do not animate correctly, we have no idea why. We think it's the engine.

*the RPG7 rockets don't always appear to explode. This is an engine limitation related to speed.
Higher speed machines should have more consistant rendering of explosions. Lowering the number of
NPCs can also help increase speed and performance.

*dildo projectiles don't always show up. This is also related to speed. Faster machines will have
better luck rendering them than slower ones. Lowering the number of NPCs can increase speed.

*some ATI cards have problems with Torque's OpenGL rendering. If when you load a mission, you see
severe graphical errors, open the options menu (ctrl+o in game) and change the rendering mode from
"OpenGL" to "D3D".

*One of the male character skins is a bald guy in a transformer's t-shirt. We are aware that when
this skin is applied to either of the male models with hair, it looks like the guy has cancer.
Fixing this would require re-working how NPCs are created, and we just didn't feel like doing that.
Deal with it.

*There can be a glitche with the panels shown at the end-game. If it hangs at a black screen, just
click and you should get the next panel, or the main menu. We're not sure why this happens, but it
isn't a big enough deal to warrant delaying the game any further.

*since its initial release, people have complained about the brightness level in the game. On all
the machines I tested it on, the game was bright enough to see, but still dark enough to feel like
a theater. If on your machine the game feels too dark, you can adjust the brightness globally by
modifying line 71 of starter.fps/client/prefs.cs. Increasing the value will adjust the gamma
correction used by the engine, making the whole game brighter.

We provide absolutely no support for this product, and will do absolutely nothing to help you if you
bitch at us. If you calmly bring issues to our attention, we might at least take a look. If we do
find sollutions for these problems, we'll release updates on the Encyclopedia Dramatica forums.

Cheats
----------------------

This game has a number of cheats you can use to affect your gameplay experience. To enter a cheat,
once the mission is loaded, open the console with the ~ key, and enter one of the following codes:

sandrabullock - Gives you an automatic dildo launcher weapon, non-lethal fun for the whole family!

mohamedscock - Gives you an RPG7 rocket launcher, a quick and easy way to max your kill count.

vtechrules - Locks the theater doors so the audience cannot escape.

tupaclives - Makes your character invincible(god mode).

Have fun. It should go without saying, but do not ever under any circumstances try to recreate any
events depicted in this game. Seriously, I cannot be held responsible if someone shoots up a theater
with dildos, or uses a rocket launcher to make an audience shit their pants.
